I am a husband, father, teacher, and a coach in rural Minnesota. My family, baseball, and the outdoors are the most important things in my life. When the pandemic hit, as a way to keep in touch with my students, I started a TikTok account (handle @mr_clence), and it took off to become a fun hobby. I feel it is my responsibility to generate a classroom that meets the needs of our students academically and technologically. My experiences have given me the knowledge and qualifications to teach at a post-secondary level through our Advanced Placement composition and literature courses with the College Board. Teaching language arts is an enjoyable experience, and seeing these skills in action from my students is a great reward.
